SMART Notebook 17 Product Key Activation on Mac
Please follow these instructions for updating an expired SMART Notebook 17 license (product keys can be obtained from the IT department):
1. Click the blue and white SMART Board icon in your menu bar at the top of your computer screen, so the drop down menu appears.
2. Select "Check for Updates and Activation."
5. Click "Manage" in the row for SMART Notebook in the window that comes up.
6. A prompt will come up asking to use confidential information stored in "SDS Identity." Click "Always Allow."
8. Type or paste the product key into the box under "Enter your product key(s)," then click the "Add" button.
9. At the bottom of the window, click the "Next" button.
10. Make sure the "Submit requests automatically (recommended)" circle is checked and click "Next" at the bottom of the window.
11. Once that has completed (it should only take a few seconds), click "Finish."
Once you're done with this, follow steps 1 and 2 again to see if you need an update. If you do, go ahead and run the update(s).

11. Once that has completed (it should only take a few seconds), click "Finish."
Once you're done with this, follow steps 1 and 2 again to see if you need an update. If you do, go ahead and run the update(s).
