How to set 8.5x11 (US Letter) paper size for Konica copier printing - MacBook
Google Chrome Browser steps:
**Note: You can make multiple changes for one preset. Konicas default to double-sided printing. If you wish to also change that setting, follow these additional instructions before proceeding to step 6.
- Open the print window - Up in the Chrome menu bar, go to File > Print OR press command + p.
- Click “Print using system dialog…” on the left side of the window at the bottom.
- Select the Konica copier you wish to use (e.g. DI-OFF-COP, HC-WORKRM-COP) from the drop-down menu.
- Select "US Letter" or "8 1/2 x 11" in the "Paper Size" option
- In the middle of the dialog box is a menu option that says “Layout.” Click that so the drop-down menu appears and select “Paper handling.” (If you do not see the "Layout" option in the middle of the window, click the "Show Details" button)
- Check the box below that says “Scale to fit paper size.”
- Select "US Letter" or "8 1/2 x 11" for the "Destination Paper Size" option.
- Locate “Presets” near the top of the window and click on that so the drop down menu appears.
- Select “Save current settings as preset.”
- Name your preset with something you will recognize.
- Select “Only this printer” then click OK.
- From here, you can either print the document or page you’re on, or you can cancel out of the print job if you don’t wish to print.
- When you next print to that printer, no matter which program you’re in, follow steps 1-3 on this list and select this saved preset before printing. If you’re in Microsoft Office programs, you will skip step 2.
**Note: You can make multiple changes for one preset. Konicas default to double-sided printing. If you wish to also change that setting, follow these additional instructions before proceeding to step 6.
- As in step 4 above, click in the same box where you selected paper handling so the drop down menu appears and select “Layout/Finish.”
- Below where it says “Print type,” select the option that says 2-sided and change that to 1-sided.
- Proceed to step 6 in the list above.
