Restricted Student Profiles
Students can been placed in one of the 4 following profiles:
- Standard
This is the default group all students are in. Google safe search is enabled, but they can search/get to any site that isn't explicitly blocked.
- No YouTube
This is similar to the Standard profile with the addition of YouTube on the block list.
- Restricted with YouTube
This is an 'allow only' list where students can only get to staff allowed links along with YouTube. All the links on the Student Helpful Links page are already on the allow list (among other (education related) sites that teachers have requested, such as Epic Books, NASA.gov, etc.)
- Restricted with No YouTube
This is an 'allow only' list where students can only get to staff allowed links (as referenced above) but YouTube is not on this allow list.
